From all of our team a big welcome to the Highwayman Country Pub and Eating House.

The Highwayman Inn is beautiful 16th century Inn situated on the edge of the stunning Chilterns and is only 10 minutes from reading and 30 minutes from London.  We have 1 rosette but are first and foremost a pub that serves good food but will always remain a place where you can come for just a drink – a simple dish like fish and chips or something a little more special. We are committed to good food, ale and wine.  We strive to source our ingredients as locally as possible, but also believe that it can be fun to try different ingredients from around the world. 

If you have any special requests please don’t hesitate to ask as our staff they are here to help.  We also ask that with any serious allergies we be given 24 hours advance notice to prepare. 

We believe that good food is worth waiting for so in busy periods please be patient with us.  One last thing! We appreciate new thoughts, ideas or suggestions so let us know what you think and we just might listen!
